Personal Information Collection Statement

We, Prudential Pensions Management Zambia, the Prudential Group and our Business Partners, will use the personal information you provide to us for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you, to enable us to administer, process and service our products and services for you
  • To comply with legal or regulatory requirements
  • To improve our products and services
  • To carry out checks using third party agencies or publicly available information and keeping your information on record as well as carrying out other internal business administration.

For certain products or services, we will need to process your sensitive personal information, such as information relating to your health. We may also pass on your personal information to financial crime prevention agencies or as directed by any legal, regulatory or government bodies. Any transfer of your personal information will always be done securely.

We, Prudential Pensions Management Zambia, the Prudential Group, and our Business Partners may be required to transmit your personal information overseas. Any transfer of personal data overseas will be in accordance with applicable local legal requirements.

Your personal information will be stored either for as long as you are our customer, or longer if required by law or in accordance with regulatory requirements and will be kept in line with our data retention policy. You can request:

  • For a copy of your personal information
  • That we amend any information that is inaccurate or incorrect
  • That we delete your personal information provided it is no longer needed for the purposes set out above or there is no other legal basis for the processing of your personal information.

We, Prudential Pensions Management Zambia and the Prudential Group will send you information by text, email, telephone, post or other means about our products and services and may request for feedback on our products and services from time to time.

Payment of Fees

The charges payable shall be calculated in accordance with our standard rates at the time such services are provided. We shall be entitled to amend the rates that we charge without providing any notice to you. Note that:

  1. All charges are  inclusive of Value Added Tax which has been  added to our invoices at the appropriate rate and which shall be payable by you.
  2. Payments may be effected  by way of a credit card transaction using a valid credit card , or mobile money. Note that to protect it’s own and the interests of it members, our payment processing provider (DPO) will carefully scrutinize all transactions to prevent attempted fraud. A  transaction may be declined if its legitimacy is suspected to be unsatisfactory.
  3. Without prejudice to any other right or remedy we may, in the event that any sum is not paid, on or before its due date, suspend the service
  4. Time for payment shall be of the essence of the Contract.

Refund Policy

  1. Refunds may be arranged at the sole discretion of PPMZ
  2. Any refund will be made using your original payment method or another method at our discretion.
  3. The investigation of this refund will take up to 14 working days

AMENDMENTS

Prudential Pensions Management Zambia may, in its sole and absolute discretion, amend these terms and conditions, or any part thereof at any time without notice.
